Continuum is beneficial for pain, chronic illness, anxiety and trauma. Continuum is also employed by artists to unlock creative blocks and support creativity and improvisation.

Ashley Johnson a certified teacher of the Mitzvah Technique and Itcush Method. Trained by Amelia Itcush and Toshie Okabe Ashley spent over 1,000 hours apprenticing in these modalities. She has had an active private practice for over 10 years focusing on injury rehabilitation, pain reduction, and movement education.

Her practice as a workshop facilitator and bodyworker has brought her across western Canada and into the USA. From 2010 - 2012 Ashley was a scholarship student under Emilie Conrad at the Continuum Studio in Los Angeles and in 2016 she certified as a Continuum Movement teacher.

Ashley is active in the dance community and regularly works with dancers to shift movement patterns and improve performance.

For 10 years Ashley worked as a dance artist and somatic movement educator in Public schools teaching dance and self regulation strategies.

She is licensed as a RSME (registered somatic movement educator) through ISMETA. Ashley holds a BA in dance from the University of Calgary with special training in Sport Science from the University of Hong Kong and a diploma in dance from Grant MacEwan University.

Kana Nemoto is a certified Mitzvah Technique (MT) and Itcush Method (IM) teacher. Kana started her dance training at age 6 and was introduced to MT/IM by Amelia Itcush (1945-2011). After finishing her B.Sc. in Japan, Kana moved to Canada to train under Itcush. Kana supplemented her training with a related M.Sc. study in Kinesiology and became a certified MT/IM teacher in 2014. Now, Kana has expanded her practice in Japan, Canada and Taiwan through online and in-person private sessions, classes and workshops, and continues to dedicate to help people release their body and mind.
